Schools
Prosper ISD is a 4AAAA rated district with over 5500 students and 7 schools. In 2009/10, a new state-of-the-art, $120 million high school.

Dining, Shopping and Entertainment
Being adjacent to Frisco and McKinney, Prosper residents are only 15 to 30 minutes from some of the areas top dining, shopping and entertainment. Prosper’s rapid growth is attracting more commercial developments and when the North Texas Tollway expands into Prosper this is expected to accelerate.
Parks and Recreation
Prosper has a number of parks with sports facilities, spraygrounds, hike and bike trails, ponds and pavilions. Frontier Park hosts the annual Prosper Community Picnic where free hot dogs, soft drinks and water are served to the residents by the city council from 5-6 pm. Aside from the food and drink, there are inflatable slides, bounce houses, rides, games, music and an obstacle course for families to enjoy.
