This is a seller’s market and when you find that perfect house, you might be competing to get your bid accepted. A pre-approval letter shows the seller that you are a serious buyer with the financial ability to close on the home in a timely fashion. Sellers will weight this with the other aspects of your offer to compare with the rest. Even if yours isn’t the highest bid, it may be the stronger overall bid putting you in the top position.

Escrow and Closing Costs
